Did you know that the Golden Gate Bridge opened to the public 75 years ago on Sunday? Apparently on it's first day it opened only to pedestrians who paid 25 cents to walk across the brand new bridge. Can you imagine such a thing? The Golden Gate is a wonder still today, but can imagine walking across it for the very first time? It must have been breathtaking. 

Are you a big fan of the bridge? You can fill your house with Golden Gate Orange (officially known as International Orange) with the paint info from the California Park's website!

(did you know there are thousands of gallons of International Orange paint stored in bunkers near the bridge for touch ups?)
